All-Natural, Organic Sunburst Native American Flute and Wood Polishing Kit
Over the years, we have been asked by our customers in how to properly care for their Native American flutes in order to protect them and to keep their shine. We, ourselves, have tried many other products in the market on our own flutes. However, we wanted to be certain that the product we use and offer to our customers is absolutely food safe with a natural base, such as our finishes we apply on our customers’ instruments. It is important that our product has all of the elements to add shine and luster in order to bring life back to any finished or unfinished wood, as well as being non-toxic.
After carefully researching this avenue for well over a year, we have developed a brand new line of a flute polishing paste (softer than wax) using all natural, raw and organic ingredients. Sunburst is 100% safe for use (safe on skin, too!) and adds increased protection and brilliance to precious Native American flutes and other woodwinds. Use it on unfinished wood, as well, to enhance the natural woods’ coloring, adding depth/dimension to the grain.
From our custom blend of organic beeswax and one or more of our low-fragrant essential oils, the scents are subtle and delightful. Also, we have now included Fragrance-Free to our line where no essential oils are added in consideration of folks who have allergies.
Beeswax is the most important component of this paste to be effective, since beeswax will sit on the surface of the wood while the oils will soak and penetrate. As a result, the beeswax fills in pores and gaps that thin oil can't bridge which helps to keep moisture, bacteria and other contaminants from getting into the wood surface.
*Please note that mineral oil is used in our Fragrance-Free Sunburst to allow the paste to penetrate into the wood.
