There are some fake Gates belts out there. Be sure the belt has the GATES logo on it (in addition to "PowerLink") and be sure the logo and lettering are yellow. Also, some sellers have a picture of a Gates belt but when you check their item specifics the brand is marked "unbranded". Too many games!
